The role has responsibility for the management of policies for medical, dental, flexible spending, vision, life insurance, long term disability, medical travel, pharmacy and the vendor relationships of each. Prior departmental leadership is preferred.
Good communication and writing skills are essential, in addition to excellent computer and systems, time management and organizational skills. The Benefit Administrator, reports to the Human Resources Manager and chairs the Benefit Committee for the company. They prepare recommendations for benefit changes and works with Accounting and our consultants to communicate the financial impact of any changes and trends in benefit costs for both the Wabash, Indiana and our Pell City, Alabama locations.
