Ribbon Cutting: Innomed Design

Wabash County, IN (JUNE 24, 2026) – Grow Wabash County and Manchester Alive are thrilled to be joining Innomed Design, LLC in celebrating the opening of its newly constructed location in North Manchester with a ribbon cutting. The ceremony will take place at noon on Friday, July 10.

Innomed, Inc., is a manufacturer of surgical instruments for orthopedic surgery based in Savannah, GA. Founded in 1985 with one product, they now feature thousands of unique instruments, many of which were designed by orthopedic surgeons in search of a unique tool for a specific task.

“Innomed Design’s decision to establish and grow its operations in North Manchester is another strong example of the momentum we are building in our community,” Adam Penrod, town manager for North Manchester, said. “This investment not only creates opportunities for innovation and high-skilled careers but also reinforces North Manchester’s position as an emerging partner for the medical device industry outside of neighboring Warsaw. We are excited to welcome Innomed Design and look forward to supporting their continued growth and success here.”

The new facility was constructed by Grow Wabash County investor, Meyer Building. “The Innomed Building represents more than just a building,” Matthew Geber, owner of Meyer Building, said. “It is the gateway for growth as they venture into the next phase of their company. Meyer Building is grateful for the opportunity to partner with them in this endeavor.”

“We have been very happy with the scope of the project that Meyer Building has just completed for us,” Ed Egner, director of new product development for Innomed Design, said. “They have been very easy to work with from design to finished building. We will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a building and are looking forward to working with them on the next project.”

innomed Design is one of multiple companies within the medical device industry that have identified Wabash County, especially North Manchester, as an ideal location for their operations. With the community’s proximity to Warsaw and supportive approach to business attraction and development, Innomed Design and many other medical device companies see the value in investing here.

“We are excited to celebrate Innomed Design’s investment in North Manchester and welcome them as part of our growing business community,” Heather Cruz, executive director of Manchester Alive, said. “Their investment highlights the confidence businesses have in North Manchester as a place to grow, innovate, and build for the future. We look forward to supporting Innomed Design’s continued growth and the positive impact they will have on our community for years to come.”

We are thrilled to welcome Innomed Design, LLC to Wabash County and to expand our presence in medical innovation,” Tenille Zartman, president and CEO of Grow Wabash County, said. “The addition of a research and development facility like this not only strengthens our local economy but also positions our community to attract highly skilled talent and cutting-edge opportunities. We are especially grateful for the leadership of Ed Egner and the vision of James Andersson in choosing to invest here, and we look forward to supporting their continued success as they grow from their Savannah, Georgia roots here in North Manchester.”

The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at noon on Friday, July 10, at 1130 Taylor Street in North Manchester. Following the ribbon cutting, guests are invited to join Innomed Design and Meyer Building on a tour of the new facility.
