Event Description:
Grow Wabash County is excited to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Integrity Control and Automation of their new expansion!
"Tom and Rebecca Coath started Integrity Control and Automation in just their dining room and garage in Somerset. They were very busy helping customers and quickly realized that they needed more help and more space. They brought in their son, Christopher, and began looking for a place to set up offices they could use for programming PLC and SCADA systems, and service industrial control systems, including instrumentation and VFDs. The building needed to be big enough for both offices and a shop so that they could design and build panels housing those control systems used by their customers. They bought a 7000 square foot building in Somerset that, over the years, had been occupied by Captain Nemo’s, Debbie’s Café, and a flea market. But after that, it sat empty for many years. Another engineer, Brian Day, came onboard as business grew in their primary markets of water, wastewater, automotive and grain handling. They are now repairing and renovating the building. While still a work in progress, a new roof has been added along with new windows and siding and the inside now has plenty of office space, a shop for panel building and other needs as other industries are added to their customer base."
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 22, at 5 Shopping Center Rd., Somerset, IN 46984.
