Grow Wabash County and Downtown Wabash, Inc. invite the community to join us for an open house and ribbon cutting on Friday, July 24, to celebrate new beginnings at Oswalt-Thomas Auto & Appliance.
"This celebration is about both honoring the past and looking toward the future," said Jana Thibos, Investor Services & Events Project Manager at Grow Wabash County. "Oswalt-Thomas has been a cornerstone of the Wabash community for decades, thanks in large part to the dedication of Jack, whose legacy continues to be felt throughout the business and our community. We remember him fondly while celebrating the investment, vision, and commitment that will carry Oswalt-Thomas forward for the next generation."
The newly remodeled lobby reflects Oswalt-Thomas' commitment to providing an enhanced customer experience while honoring the history of a business that has served Wabash for generations. The renovation marks the first major update to the space in decades and offers customers a welcoming environment to learn more about the company's appliance, automotive, and tire services.
"Historic downtowns thrive when businesses believe in their future enough to invest in them. Seeing Oswalt-Thomas revitalize its storefront after decades of serving Wabash is a wonderful reminder that honoring your history and embracing the future can go hand-in-hand. We are grateful for their continued investment in downtown and excited to see their legacy continue for generations to come," said Mikka Hunt, Executive Director at Downtown Wabash.
The celebration for Oswalt-Thomas Auto & Appliance will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 24, at 160 West Canal Street in Wabash. After the ribbon cutting, guests are invited to look around the newly renovated space, meet the new owner, refreshments, and more deals to save!
