Name: WCPL Book Club: Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine
Date: October 20, 2021
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM EDT
Event Description:
We have learned a lot in the last year but perhaps nothing as important as the power of human connection. Countless novelists have explored this topic through the years and we have chosen three from the last decade to explore this fall. In October, we'll read and discuss Gail Honeyman's 2017 debut novel, "Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine." A former Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick, this is a "smart, warm, and uplifting story of an out-of-the-ordinary heroine whose deadpan weirdness and unconscious wit make for an irresistible journey as she realizes the only way to survive is to open your heart." *WCPL Book Club is an informal chance to chat about the things we love (or don't) about a monthly book choice. We'll provide the coffee, tea, and water. You can bring your favorite snack if you'd like.
