Title: Grounds & Projects
Reports To: Grounds Manager
FLSA Status: Nonexempt: Part-time & Seasonal, Hourly
Overview:
Grounds & Projects is responsible for all aspects of maintaining safe and attractive grounds around Honeywell Arts & Entertainment properties, providing preventive maintenance as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

Mow and detail Honeywell Arts & Entertainment properties
Care for trees, shrubs, and lawns by watering, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and controlling weeds
Apply chemicals to maintain lawns, and provide pest management
Operate and maintain irrigation system
Collect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish, and refuse from the grounds daily
Clean brickwork, plaza, sidewalks, gutters, wash windows, etc., and remove snow on walks and drives
Empty outside trash receptacles as needed
Maintain fountains and outside dining furniture while in season
Operate tools and equipment according to the prescribed safety procedures
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties
Maintain vehicles in safe operating condition at all times
Inspect and adjust tools and equipment for safety and efficiency and perform preventive maintenance at scheduled intervals
Conducts regular inspection of facilities
Checks kitchen appliances
Checks computer temperature controls
Puts up/takes down outdoor signage
Assembles, installs, and repairs plumbing components
Orders parts when needed
Help with setups when needed
Other duties as assigned

Office environment and outdoor environment with various conditions
Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping and reaching
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. with the ability to push or pull more than 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity
Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones

Position may require overtime including limited evening and weekend hours
