Plant Manager Duties:

• Lead and develop an engaged team to meet or exceed organizational goals through a high-performance culture focused on vision, mission, and values
• Maintain productivity and workflow by scheduling and monitoring the scheduling process, personnel, and equipment
• Provide oversight and direction regarding manufacturing, safety, planning, cost efficiency, and product quality
• Ultimately responsible for performance management of all assigned employees, engaging with all team members and promoting a teamwork focused environment
• Implement and maintain manufacturing principles such as Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, etc. to improve efficiency and quality throughout the facility.
• Maintain metrics to include safety, quality and productivity and analyze data to develop strategies to improve processes
• Management of the plant budget, including developing practices to minimize unnecessary costs
• Provide daily direction, support, development and leadership to Production Supervisors

Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience, preferably managing both direct and indirect reports
• Leadership experience in a heavy manufacturing and/or welding environment
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or demonstrated equivalent skills, knowledge, and abilities
• Proven experience in leading safety compliance and engagement.
• Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP software
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly motivated, self-starter.
• Able to analyze problems to determine the root cause and develop and implement effective solutions.
• Proven experience with problem solving and conflict resolution.
