- Follows the bartender opening and closing procedures and checklist.
- Ensures guests are satisfied with the service. Responds promptly and courteously to any requests. Assures that efficient, effective, courteous service is rendered at all times.
- Checks identification of customers in order to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
- Follows ATC (Alcohol and Tobacco Commission) serving guidelines. Attempts to reduce problems and liability related to customers excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
- Responsible for managing cash drawer, processing guests’ payments, and contacting the accounting department when change is needed before and during shift.
- Maintains clean bar area including utensils and bar equipment. Practices sanitation procedures and guidelines.
- Must possess valid alcohol permit and carry it while bartending.
- Responsible for requesting additional alcohol/supply needs; must be aware of liquor, beer, wine, and mixed drink inventory.
- Attends all meetings as scheduled.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.

Education And/Or Experience
High school equivalent and Bartending experience is preferred.

- Office and kitchen environment
- Utilizing an office desk - sitting, reading, listening or speaking with the ability to move intermittently throughout the day
- Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping and reaching
- Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. with the ability to push or pull more than 40 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity
- Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones
