Our core competencies are centered around extrusion coating, compression molding, die-cutting, and assembly. Our production technologies allow us to offer our customers an array of products that support applications across multiple industries:
- For the industrial packaging industries, our products range from steel wraps to fiber drum and consumer packaging lamination.
- For the automotive industries, we provide air caps for overhead HVAC systems, headliners, trim panels, and other thermoformed products.

POSITION SUMMARY
This individual is responsible for improving processes to maximize performance for the customer and internal manufacturability. Additional core work content includes management of process standards and documentation. A technical background, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and a desire to learn will drive success in this entry-level position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continuous Improvement Application of Lean and Industrial Engineering skills to improve operations
- Conduct training on lean skills for other employees
- Lead improvement teams
- Provide support to other employees on their projects
- Process Support, Documentation, & Standards Manage documentation to ensure optimal operation of processes Standard Operating Procedures, Set-up Sheets, etc. PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process flows
- Product & Equipment Launch Support Responsible for pre-production builds
- Responsible for pre-production process development Refining material characteristics * Developing process parameters throughout the value stream
- Machine programming/adjustment
- Equipment Management Lead capital projects involving the design and installation of new equipment.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources on equipment upgrades
- Provide support and guidance to maintenance to ensure optimum operation of machinery
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production Support Assist production in troubleshooting processing issues
- FANUC water jet programming
- Process Audits Evaluate processes for: Opportunities for improvement Safety/Ergonomic risks
- Conformance to standards
- As-needed support of other departments and plant functions
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's (B.S.) or Associates (A.S.) in:
- Industrial, Systems, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Experience 0-5 years
- Six Sigma
- Lean Manufacturing
- ISO/IATF
- Automotive Industry
- Knowledge of non-wovens, fabrics, foams, plastics extrusion, and thermoplastic resins
- Microsoft Office Suite, CAD (2D & 3D), Minitab
- Robotics, PLC (Understanding)

COMPENSATION
$60,000 to $80,000
