Program Details
When: October 2026 – May 2027
Schedule: Third Thursday of each month, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Location: Various locations throughout Wabash County
Develop the Leader Within You
Leadership Development Wabash County is the launchpad for emerging leaders and professionals of all ages. Whether you are new to leadership, early in your career, or looking to sharpen your skills, LDWC offers a comprehensive learning experience designed to strengthen leadership abilities, maximize leadership potential, and increase your impact within the Wabash County community.
Throughout this eight-month journey, participants gain valuable insights into their personal leadership strengths and growth opportunities while learning how to lead more effectively in professional, community, and personal settings.
More than 275 Wabash County leaders have graduated from the LDWC program and continue to serve on local boards, strengthen the organizations they work for, hold government leadership positions, and make meaningful contributions throughout the community.

Scholarship Opportunity
The Jim Smith Scholarship will be available for applications in early September. Sponsored by Grow Wabash County, this scholarship was established to recognize the incredible contributions of Jim Smith, who retired from his role as Leadership Development Wabash County Program Director in 2020. The scholarship helps support emerging leaders who are committed to growing their leadership skills and making a positive impact in Wabash County.
