POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Sales Coordinator position will receive requests/inquiries from Account Managers and provide information and price quotes. This role will also provide administrative support to process order entry from customers and send confirmation to customers.
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager of Supply & Distribution
SUPERVISES: N/A

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receives request by telephone, text or email for price quotations/verifications, purchase order, and changes or cancellation directly from customers. Responds immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers, answers questions regarding product line, prices, deliver times, warranty periods, customer service.
  • Sends promotional items or other data to customer as required.
  • Assists in handling the needs of Account Managers and works with Purchasing to expedite or ensure timely delivery of scheduled shipments.
  • Proficient in POS system.
  • Research sourcing opportunities for Account Managers and Sales Manager.
  • Cross reference parts and supplies with competitor parts and supplies.
  • Ability to display excellent communication/customer service with internal and external customers/suppliers with timely follow-up with quotes, pricing, and availability.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
  • Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous retail/office experience is preferred. 
COMPETENCIES:
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service and organization skills
  • Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
  • Self-starter that takes initiative along with analytical skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs.
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time.
