POSITION SUMMARY: The HRBP will work independently while assisting the Human Resources department with recruiting, onboarding, managing, training, and organization of the HR responsibilities for our various locations.
REPORTS TO: Director of HR
Supervises: N/A

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. 
  • Conduct all new hire onboarding.
  • Utilize and maintain a knowledge of our HRIS.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave of absence; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity; recognition, and morale; and training and development.
  • Work closely with managers to recruit and develop a team for our various locations.
  • Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position.
  • Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field preferred. 
  • Previous HR experience a plus.
COMPETENCIES:
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Self-starter that takes initiative with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines.
  • Computer proficient with the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Involves sitting most of the time.
  • Visual Acuity: ability to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned including to make general observations of facilities.
