Teller - Part Time - Wabash Branch
Job Summary
The Teller is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while accurately and efficiently performing day-to-day banking transactions. As a primary point of contact, tellers represent Crossroads Bank’s brand, values, and play a vital role in creating a welcoming, secure professional banking environment for all customers.
Essential Responsibilities
· Process routine and less frequent customer transactions accurately using teller systems capture technology
· Verify customer identification or other documentation in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
· Monitor lobby and teller line activity to ensure customer flow efficiency
· Effectively manage assigned cash drawer, including proper cash levels, secured funds
· Balance cash drawer throughout the business day with accuracy
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
Additional Responsibilities
· Answer incoming phone calls and route inquiries appropriately
· Assist customers with online banking
· Prepare and roll coin as needed
· File maintain signature cards and other customer documentation
· Comply with all applicable regulations and internal policies, including BSA and OFAC
· Participate in required training, continuing education, and seminars as offered
· Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations

Qualifications
Education & Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· College coursework in Business or related field preferred

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This position is performed in a branch office environment and requires frequent interaction with the public. The role involves sitting and standing for extended periods, using computers and office equipment, handling and counting cash, bending, reaching, kneeling, and grasping objects. The employee must be able to lift, carry, or move cash drawers, coin, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
