Metro North Elementary School and MSD Wabash County seeks qualified candidates interested in a paraprofessional position at Metro North Elementary School, a preschool through grade 2 educational setting.

Job Requirements:

• Support and foster a safe, positive and healthy learning environment
• Engage actively with children
• Assist preschool- grade 2 students in the classroom under the guidance of a teacher
• Supervise students during recess and lunch periods
• Communicate with colleagues and administrator
• Maintain cooperative relationships
• Complete other duties as assigned by the principal

Qualifications:

Applicants must have one of the following:

• Complete 48 semester hours of college credit
• Hold and Associate's Degree
• Intent to complete and pass the paraprofessionals exam
