PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER
We are seeking experienced production assembler candidates who can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate initiative and are comfortable learning various tasks in a team environment. These candidates must be available to work any shift including weekends if needed. These positions require a high school diploma or GED or three months related experience.
The positions require the following skills, attributes, and abilities:
Product assembly
Knowledge of visually inspecting products for quality prior to, during, and after assembly
Set up and operation of various machine centers, and material handling equipment units (Both Powered and Manual)
Reading drawings, shipping manifests and blueprints
Maintaining consistent workplace safety
Successful candidates will have a documented work history indicating position related experience. A flexible schedule is required to accommodate department needs. Applicants should be able to work in warm environments and perform frequent lifting/moving of up to 100 lbs. Classes or training in manufacturing processes, warehousing, forklifts and reach trucks, electronic scanning devices and Microsoft/JD Edwards computer applications are helpful.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, be drug free, and function well in a team environment.
