CDL Driver/Dock Worker - Wabash Facility
Home every night! Ford Meter Box is seeking a Class A CDL Driver/Dock Worker. A majority of the work schedule is on campus, with limited road time. Forklift and warehousing duties are also included.
This position requires a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and current authorization from the state to operate a commercial vehicle. The position also requires the following abilities and skills:
• Warehouse and logistical tracking
• Commercial driving and company policy compliance
• The ability to safely operate both straight trucks and tractor-trailer units for both long and short haul product transfers
• Material handling, trailer staging, and docking expertise
• Inspection proficiency for both vehicles and cargo/payload prior to, during, and after transport
• Schedule flexibility to accommodate operational needs
• Workplace and road safety excellence
• Observing deadlines, requirements, and schedules as outlined by supervision and federal law.
