As a Teacher, you are responsible for developing plans and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children. This position partners with families and peers to provide individualized and multicultural programming in the classroom. You will maintain records that chart growth and developmental progress. Teachers work with parents whenever possible to promote an understanding of their children's growth and development and encourage parents to be active in the program alongside their children.

Requirements

Preferred Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA); associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age; must be at least 21 years of age to work independently with infants and toddlers.
  • Basic language, written, and computer skills necessary for communication and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to support people with disabilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed.
  • Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
