Network Administrator- Wabash Facility

The Ford Meter Box Co., Inc., (www.fordmeterbox.com), is seeking a Network Administrator to join the Information Technology department. The Network Administrator position is part of the Systems team that is responsible for maintaining the company’s network environment.  The team identifies system requirements, installs upgrades, assists users, and monitors network performance.

The Systems team’s duties include:  

• Administering and maintaining servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and company phone systems

• Installing and maintaining network hardware and software

• Monitoring networks to ensure security and availability for users

• Evaluating and monitoring system's performance and network issues

• Ensuring network connectivity throughout the company's LAN/WAN infrastructure

• Maintaining integrity of the network, server deployment, and applying best security practices

• Ensuring network adheres to technical standards and best practices

• Experience with PLCs is a plus

A minimum of a two-year computer degree is required. Ideal candidates should have strong computer and logic skills.
