The position will be responsible for consulting, collaborating, and supporting training initiatives throughout the company. 

 
Job duties and requirements:

• Experience with conducting needs assessments and developing written training programs for manufacturing
• A background including exercises on technical writing, work instructions, training plans and development materials
• Database management skills
• Ability to evaluate relevancy and accuracy of written training plans and provide guidance to supervision on performance management and goal setting
• Experience delivering stand up training programs and using a variety of delivery methods and instructional techniques
• Provides support to training initiatives in Safety, Sales, Production or Leadership as needed
• Coordinates participation efforts in state or federal training grants with local colleges and manages company tuition reimbursement
• Facilitates participation in and use of vendor programs

A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required along with 2-4 years of experience in adult education, training, and technical writing.

Computer skills, public speaking, and organizational communication expertise is essential. Successful candidates need to have experience with facilitating factory and organizational level training programs.
